What is on the hard drive

Office photocopiers store what passes through them. There is a drive inside the machine holding images of scans, copies and print jobs, and it does not clear itself when the machine is switched off. Sell privately and that drive leaves your office with the machine. Every machine we buy is wiped before it is refurbished
or resold. For anyone handling client files, patient records, contracts or payroll, that is not a detail.

Replacing it rather than just clearing it out

If the reason you are selling is that you have bought, or are about to buy, something better, the value of the old machine can go towards the new one instead of being paid out. It saves a step, and it means you are not storing a machine you no longer want while you wait for somebody to come and take it.

Which areas do you collect from?

The whole Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra and Kawana up through Maroochydore, Buderim and Noosa, and inland to Maleny, Nambour and Gympie. If you are close to that and not sure, call and ask.

Do I need to get the machine to you?

No. We come to you and we handle the lifting. That is the point of the service.

How do you work out what it is worth?

Model, age, meter reading and condition. The meter reading matters more than the age does, so it is worth finding if you can.

What happens to the data on it?

We wipe the internal drive before the machine is refurbished or resold. Nothing from your office goes out with it.

Do you buy machines that have stopped working?

Often, yes. A machine that is not worth repairing for you can still be worth something for parts. Tell us the make, model and what it is doing.
