Photocopier sales

Photocopier sales on the Sunshine Coast

We sell commercial photocopiers on the Sunshine Coast, and we got into it from the repair side. Offices kept asking what to buy when a machine finally gave up, so we started answering properly. New, second hand or refurbished, delivered and set up, with the same people looking after it afterwards.

LASER PRINTERS SUNSHINE COAST

Copier and printer repairs, plus machines to buy and sell, on the Sunshine Coast

Why we know what holds up

Our technicians spend their weeks inside other people's copiers. They know which finishers jam by the second year, which models are still easy to get parts for and which makers have stopped supporting a line. That is the reason you can ask us what to buy and get a straight answer.

We are not tied to a maker. The question we start from is what suits your pages, your paper and the corner of the office the machine is going into.

Three ways to get a machine

RouteSuitsWorth knowing
NewOffices that print heavily, want current security and scanning features, or want the longest run ahead of them.Delivered, installed and connected. See new and A3 photocopiers for more.
Second handA small firm, a trades office, a site office or anyone wanting a proper commercial machine without a big outlay.Serviced and tested before it leaves us, with the meter reading recorded and told to you.
RefurbishedBuyers who want a used machine that has had its worn parts replaced.Sits between new and second hand. Reconditioned and ex demo machines are explained on their own page.

Machines are commercial, A3 floor standing and desktop copiers, A4 multifunctions, workgroup printers, wide format plotters and label printers. We do not sell home inkjets and would not point a business at one.

The makers are the ones we repair every week: Toshiba, Kyocera, Canon, Ricoh, HP, Fujifilm, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Brother and Epson workgroup models.

What we ask you on the phone

About the work

Nobody needs a catalogue to start. We ask a handful of plain questions, and you answer what you can.

  • Copy, print, scan, or all three?
  • Roughly how many pages a month, and does it spike at tax time or end of term?
  • Colour, and for what? A builder's quote needs it less than a real estate window card.
  • Paper sizes, heavy stock, labels, envelopes.
Running a site office or surgery?Leave a few lines about the machine. We call back with a price and book it once you agree.

About the building and the people

We fill the gaps from experience. What comes back is a recommendation for your office, not a catalogue page.

  • How many staff use it, and where will it sit?
  • Scan to email, scan to folder, secure print or card release?
  • What are you using now, and what annoys you about it?
  • Own it, or spread the cost?

A machine for the kind of business you run

A medical or allied health room wants reliable scanning, privacy and a machine that sits quietly in a hallway. A real estate office wants colour and fast scan to email. Builders and engineers on the coast want A3, and often a plotter for plans. A school office wants a machine that survives the last week of term. An accountant wants speed and secure print. A cafe wants something tough in black and white.

We have fitted machines to all of them. The right choice is rarely the biggest one on the price list.

Fitting the machine into the room

A floor standing copier with a finisher is a big piece of furniture. It wants a clear metre or so in front for the drawers and a power point that is not shared with a kettle. A network point close by saves cable across a walkway. We have walked into offices where the delivery was fine and the position was the problem, so we ask about the room before we recommend a size.

Smaller desktop A3 machines are easier. They suit a front office, a site shed with a proper power supply or a corner of an accounts room, and they still do the scanning and print jobs most small firms need.

Toner, drums and what the machine costs to feed

The purchase is a part of the cost. Toner, drums and the odd roller are the rest, and they differ a lot between models. We tell you what a machine uses so you can work the figure out for your own volume. If a cheap unit eats expensive cartridges, you hear it before you buy.

Prices, stock and what we leave off the website

There is no price list here and no stock list. Stock turns over, and a list that was right on Monday is wrong by Friday. What a machine costs depends on the model, its condition, the service arrangement and how you want to pay. Ring with what you need, and we say what is available and give you a quote.

That quote carries no obligation. Take it, show your accountant, compare it with someone else's, come back or do not. Nobody from here rings you ten times for an answer.

Paying for it

Buy it outright if you want to own it. Hire it for a short project, rent it, or lease it, which spreads the cost and can bundle servicing into one arrangement. Finance is available on commercial machines. Our page on photocopier hire, rental, lease and finance explains each, and what to ask before you sign.

Reading two quotes side by side

Do not stop at the bottom line. Look at the machine, its speed and what paper it handles. Look at what is included: delivery, installation, a first supply of toner, a staff walk through. Ask what it costs to run, in toner and drums per page. And ask who services it, and how soon they turn up. A low price that leaves service to somebody else is not low.

Send us a quote from anyone and we say what we think of it, honestly, even when that means telling you to take theirs.

Warranted, in plain terms

The machines we sell are warranted. We explain what is covered on the phone before you decide, and the answer you hear then is the answer you get later. Anything that matters to you, ask it before you buy.

Afterwards

The people who sold you the machine are the people who fix it. Our technicians are certified and experienced, repair on site with the common spares in the van, and 98% of jobs are finished on the first visit. A repeat of the same fault is fixed again at no charge. Our photocopier repairs and commercial printer repairs pages say more.

Many sales start with a service call. A technician is replacing a roller on a machine that has had three repairs this year and the office manager asks what to do next. We have the history, so we can say whether another repair is sensible.

What happens to the old machine

If a new machine is replacing an old one, we buy used photocopiers and collect them, and the value can go towards the new one. A machine that is only moving rooms or buildings is a relocation job instead.

Delivery coverage

We sell and deliver from Caloundra, Kawana and Mooloolaba through Maroochydore, Buderim, Sippy Downs, Coolum and Noosa, out to Tewantin and Cooroy, up the Blackall Range to Maleny, across to the Glass House Mountains and Kilcoy, and north to Gympie, Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach. If your suburb is not on the list, ring.

The second callout

The first repair is the cheap one

Most of the bad invoices we hear about are the second and third visits. Someone came, swapped a part, left. The fault was back by Thursday. Nobody found the cause, so nobody fixed it.

About 98% of our repairs are done on the first visit. When the odd one is not, the second visit costs you nothing.

  • Find it once. The cause, not the nearest part.
  • Say so honestly. If a visit does not finish the job, you hear it from us.
  • Come back free. Same fault, no charge.
